cookies.

to know how rondje is used, we count ourselves, on our own server: which pages are visited, where from (the referring site or a campaign link), on what kind of device and from which country, and which steps people take (for example making a rondje or picking a moment).

we don't put anything in your browser for this: no cookies and no other storage. we don't keep an ip address, a name or an account. to count visitors per day we turn your ip address and browser into an unreadable code with a secret that is new every day and then deleted. so nobody can be followed or recognised across days.

we remove codes, tokens and links to someone's rondje from the address first. we only use these counts ourselves, as totals, and share them with no one.

logging in: so you stay logged in.

your rondje together in progress: so you don't lose anything if you leave the page for a moment, for example to scan a card. it disappears when you close your browser.

your town: where you last searched (and the last few towns), so you don't have to enter it every time.

your cookie choice: whether you said yes or no to measuring, so we don't keep asking.

your language: whether you want to see the site in dutch or english, if you choose it yourself (rondje:taal).

all of this is needed to make rondje work and stays on your own device.

if you say yes in the bar at the bottom, we load google analytics. it sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…, up to 2 years) to count which pages are visited, where from, and on what kind of device. that way we see what works and what could be better.

we never send google codes, tokens or links to someone's rondje: we remove those from the address first. google signals and advertising features are off, and google doesn't store your ip address. we don't link it to your name or account.

if you say no, or don't choose, we don't load google analytics at all. you can always change your choice below.

cloudflare turnstile: only with customer service we load a bot check from cloudflare. it checks whether you're a human and doesn't use advertising cookies for that.
